Gorilla Biscuits put on an electric set at the Saturday matinee at the Metro. Opening with their staple intro “New Direction”, the crowd exploded with energy the second the first trumpet note was played. From start to finish, nothing but stage dives and smiles were had by both the band and all the fans. It was truly an incredible experience not only seeing fans dive off the stage at the Metro, which is very rare to see, but also seeing the security protect and look out for those diving.
Everyone was on the same team just having fun and sharing this unique experience together. That’s what hardcore’s all about.
